A
SPECIAL PLACE:
Set in 500 hectares of pleasant bush and pasture land, St. Mary's Towers
is gifted with an atmosphere conducive to prayer and reflection.
A
PLACE OF SILENCE:
We cultivate a place of profound contemplative silence in an hospitable
environment which binds and communicates. This silence extends from our
way of living and moving about ordinary tasks, to an inward contemplative
attitude towards one's own self and God.
The silence of this place is at the service of a serious commitment to
a spirit of prayer.
THE
HOME OF THE SPIRIT:
Environment and silence, though precious to us, are but a preparation
for what God alone can achieve.
St. Mary's Towers is home to a way of life. The people at The Towers are
motivated and formed by their personal experience of the divine and human
love of God in the heart of Jesus, now glorified and living on in all
creation.
This spirit and life find expression in a natural and normal living out
of the kindness of God, towards those who live here and those who visit.
All retreats commence
with the evening meal at 6pm
followed by Eucharist on the first date shown.
They conclude following an early afternoon Eucharist
on the last date shown.
Complete silence is observed throughout all retreats.
Celebrations of Eucharist and reconciliation are part of each retreat.
